Vehicle Classifier System is all-new, sophisticated, modular design, with advanced firmware provides extremely high reliability and serviceability. Adaptive auto-ranging axle sensors detect bicycles through to heavy vehicles. No class, speed bins, or time steps required. With all axles retained, you decide later which class, speeds, etc to report. The accuracy of sensor reaches at least 90% all time. Now with a user replaceable alkaline/rechargeable battery pack and advanced power-saving features, you can survey continuously for at least 250 days without replacing the batteries. The roadside unit`s firmware is designed to prevent premature flat batteries: it automatically powers down when the survey is finished, if the memory is full or if no data is logged for more than a week.
